Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point Arial font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Research articles (Perspectives)

Perspectives is a section that comprises original and unpublished research articles. It evokes the act of seeing through, as the Latin etymology perspicere states it. All participating authors present their findings and put them to their community’s consideration and discussion in order to enrich peer dialogue within the following academic fields:

Manuscripts written by national and international researchers will be received in either Spanish or English.

Specialists with wide national and international recognition rigorously review all of the manuscripts through Partial Double-Blind Peer Review.

Review article

Unpublished review articles that depict different aspects of academic inquiry and compare the information from different sources, particularly in the following academic fields:

Specialists with wide national and international recognition rigorously review all of the manuscripts through Partial Double-Blind Peer Review.

Essays (Scenarios)

Scenarios is a site intended for figuralization. This section represents a linguistic setting in which the author and the reader re-create an exchange of thoughts, where the regulated dialogue that maintains the language used to talk about a current issue is figured.

Essays will be from 6 to 10 pages long (1500-2500 words), and they will be received only by invitation of the responsible editor.

These texts will not be open peer.

 

Critiques (Resonances)

Resonances is a space dedicated to critical reviews regarding contemporary books, expositions, scientific activities or cultural events that pulse current time and assist readers on what has gained notoriety.

Critiques will be no more than 4 pages long (1000 words) and they will be received only by invitation of the responsible editor.

These texts will not be open peer reviewed (OPR).
