Abstract

Writing is a process of self-conviction. Through it, the author’s reason sets before their soul the principles by which it wishes to be guided.

Author Biography

  • Elik G. Troconis

    Historian from the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras from UNAM, and Master in Creative Writing from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is the author of the novels Asesino por religión (finalist for the Premio Letras Nuevas de Novela) and La conquista de la tecnología, as well as coordinator of the book of short stories Enigmas de la noche fría. He has published short stories, minifictions, poetry and theater criticism in national and international magazines. In 2019, he received the scholarship of the training program for young writers of the Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas. 

    He has also worked as a disseminator of arts and humanities in positions as author, editor, and host of printed, electronic, radio, and television media, including TV UNAM. He is also dedicated to cultural promotion, an activity that has led him to give talks, conferences, and workshops for children and young people in public and private schools and universities, as well as in cultural institutions.
