Abstract

This essay analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the teaching-learning process. To this end, it draws on Jaakko Hintikka’s epistemic logic, which models the process and suggests the role that this technology would occupy in society and in education. Anti-scientific positions are rejected, and computationalism is defended as a parameter of intelligence. The reflections derive from a documentary review of the topic. The foundation lies in a critique of educational philosophy that seeks to marginalize the production of knowledge grounded in scientific and empirical bases. The analysis shows that AI is integrated into each stage of the process, and that its evaluation is rarely objective, as it tends to be merely an echoing of individual perspectives.
