Abstract

The National Museum of Art hosts “ATL. Fire, Earth and Wind Sublime sensation" until September. The exhibition consists of 130 pieces distributed throughout four rooms. Most of them are by Gerardo Murillo, Dr. Atl (1875-1964), an artist whose work is important to understand the development of Mexican art.

Author Biography

  • Roberto Javier Acuña-Gutiérrez, National Autonomous University of Mexico

    He holds a Master of Arts degree in Spanish Letters and is professor of Journalism and Hispanic Languages and Literature at the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán (UNAM). He collaborates on some portals and culture magazines, such as El Periódico de Poesía (UNAM).

    His work as literary creator of stories, poetry and essays is compiled in different Mexican and Spanish anthologies. He is currently doing a doctorate degree in Spanish Letters at UNAM.
