About the Journal

FIGURAS REVISTA ACADÉMICA DE INVESTIGACIÓN is a triannual publication of scientific and humanistic research, edited by the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán-UNAM. It publishes, in either Spanish or English, original articles (open peer reviewed), essays and reviews on the five academic fields formed in the institution with the purposes of intensifying the sharing of academic discussion, contributing to the construction of basic and applied research, and promoting as well as disseminating its results in and out of Mexico. Aimed at researchers, academics and students concerned with the needs of the national and international scientific community with respect to local, regional or international problems.
