Abstract

The book El pluriverso de Derechos Humanos. La diversidad de las luchas por la dignidad and its contributions to the de-constructive discussion of the efficacy of human rights are analyzed. It emphasizes that the works contribute to an equal exchange among intellectuals, perpetrators and survivors of human rights violations.

Author Biography

Isaac de Paz-González, Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. Facultad de Derecho, Tijuana

He holds a PhD in Fundamental Rights and Public Liberty. Professor-Researcher at Facultad de Derecho Tijuana at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. 

Creator and coordinator of the Doctorate in Constitutional Procedural Law and Human Rights. He has given lectures and has participated in seminars at the Universities of Oxford, Stockholm, Dublin, San Carlos de Guatemala and at Instituto de la Judicatura Federal. 

Author of Constitucionalismo y Justiciabilidad de los Derechos Sociales (Porrúa-IMDPC, 2017) and The Social Rights Jurisprudence in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (Edward Elgar, 2018) among other books and scientific articles. He is member of Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, Conacyt Nivel 1, Society of Legal Scholars (Oxford, United Kingdom), Instituto Mexicano de Derecho Procesal Constitucional and lastly of International Association of Constitutional Law, IACL-AIDC.
