Abstract

The review argues that digital humanities can be a means of transforming knowledge production and reproduction methodologies in traditional humanistic academies, since the media, in this case the virtual media through which they are transmitted, must be updated.

The book Las humanidades digitales en la enseñanza de las literaturas hispánicas. Aplicaciones prácticas, coordinado por Clara Isabel Martínez Cantón, Rocío Ortuño Casanova y Antonio Huertas Morales," coordinated by Clara Isabel Martínez Cantón, Rocío Ortuño Casanova, and Antonio Huertas Morales, is added into this framework. Its purpose is to facilitate the integration of digital methodologies in university classrooms, particularly their application to the study of Spanish-language literature.

The pedagogical objective of the work focuses on technological and digital methodologies and tools for critical reflection on their formative and research possibilities for teaching them within the humanities field.
