Abstract

The following dossier is a joint effort to defy epistemic individualism and to explore new ways of existing in an interconnected world, where we see ourselves equipped to know how to act beyond binarism/coloniality/decoloniality and its epistemic imprints.

Author Biography

Luz María Montelongo-Díaz-Barriga, National Autonomous University of Mexico

She is an Interinstitutional PhD holder in Educación from Universidad Iberoamericana (Campus Ciudadd de México). Candidate at Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores 2023-2026. She persued doctoral studies at the Instituto de Investigaciones Gino Germani in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She made a postdoctoral stay in the Departamento de Investigaciones Educativas del Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados (DIE-CIVESTAV) with Dr. Rosa Nidia Buenfil Burgos. She is part of different national and Latin-American reasearch groups such as: Sociedad Mexicana de Educación Comparada (SOMEC), Programa de Análisis Político de Discurso e Investigación (PAPDI), Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO), The Global Alliance for Ministries and Infrastructures for Peace (GAMIP), among others.

She is currently the department head of the Departamento de Investigación Educativa at the Facultad de Estudios Superiores (FES) Acatlán of the Universidad Nacional autónoma de México (UNAM), where she conducts the following lines of research: a) Educación superior: Investigación, innovación y tecnología, b) Discurso y subjetividades en educación y c) Filosofía, teoría y campo de la educación.
