Abstract

The review argues that the edition of Homeless Sculpture by Günther Anders, published by Molussia Editores, revisits the technological gesture that Anders himself applied when reflecting on the work of Auguste Rodin. It claims that the German thinker’s 1943 lecture presents Rodin’s sculptures not as traditional artistic objects, but as machines for producing experiences. Moreover, it highlights how Anders positions himself within the philosophical debate on technology, in dialogue with figures such as Walter Benjamin, Theodor Adorno, Martin Heidegger, and Hannah Arendt.
