This review describes the content of the book Los estudios de audiencias. De la tradición a la innovación, coordinated by Natalia Quintas-Froufe y Ana González-Neira; in which they go over the different chapters the piece is composed of: the theoretical conceptual debate, the application areas, the methodology, the scopes and limitations. The most relevant aspects, which are of interest to the communication and social sciences specialists, are noted.
