Integridad académica y plagio en la educación superior: disrupción de la inteligencia artificial generativa

La integridad académica es una actitud sustentada en un sistema de valores colectivo que debe formarse, preservarse y fomentarse dentro de la comunidad educativa. Sin embargo, existen prácticas relativamente comunes que la vulneran; entre ellas destaca el plagio, que puede ocurrir tanto por desconocimiento como de forma intencional; en ambos casos, representa una falta a la integridad académica. A partir de noviembre de 2022, se incorporó al ámbito educativo el uso masivo de inteligencia artificial generativa (IAGen), lo que ocasionó una disrupción en los constructos de la integridad académica y el plagio, al introducir nuevos retos y cuestionar las definiciones previamente establecidas. Este trabajo propone un análisis de los valores que sustentan la integridad académica, una clasificación de las definiciones de plagio y sus causas, así como un modelo estratégico de prevención, pedagogía, detección y sanciones, con base en la revisión narrativa de 149 documentos ubicados en el índice Scopus, publicados entre 2021 y 2024. La revisión se realizó de manera personal, con apoyo de NotebookLM de Google, dentro de un marco conceptual que distingue entre educación transaccional y transformadora. Los resultados pueden ser aprovechados por las instituciones de educación superior para generar marcos normativos y acciones específicas que promuevan la integridad académica y mitiguen el plagio.Descargas
